Visitation

The Minister pays regular visits to the hospitals, nursing homes, etc, as well as house calls in connection with bereavements, counselling needs, newcomers, etc; please inform him of people in hospital. The elders visit in their districts at least twice a year. Requests for other visits may be made by e-mailing djrandall479@btinternet.com or through the boxes in the church vestibule.

Vestry Hour

The Minister may be consulted without appointment on Fridays between 6pm and 7pm at the Market Street Hall. Appointments can be arranged for other times.

Weddings

Couples wishing to be married in church should consult the minister at an early stage. People do not have to be members of the church, but it is assumed that those who want to be married in church sincerely wish to seek God's blessing on their marriage; and the time around marriage is a good time to give serious thought to the claims of Christ. Couples will be expected to attend a Marriage Preparation class which meets after morning service on the last three Sundays of January.

Funerals

Arrangements are made through an Undertaker or directly with the Minister, who will seek to give as much help as possible. The church building is available for such Services. More information is available from the Minister on the normal arrangements.

Finance

A Freewill Offering Envelope system is in use, and all members are given a new set of envelopes each year. Tax-paying members are also encouraged to give under Gift Aid; further information from your elder. The Statement of the Church's accounts is made available at the Annual Meeting.
